Naples, a paradise of flavors
Every time I think of Naples, the dishes that give life to its incredible culture come to mind. From a savory pasta dish to a crunchy sweet, Naples is a true paradise for those who love to eat. In my house, as in many Neapolitan families, we ate a simple and balanced diet, rich in vegetables, proteins, and cereals.
Sunday was different. That day became a real feast of Neapolitan gastronomy. My mother spent hours in the kitchen, preparing delicacies that could well belong to the best restaurants in town. I clearly remember the aroma of Neapolitan bread invading our house. Those traditions, surrounded by loved ones, made food the true protagonist of my life.+1

I’ve been living in Spain for 7 years now. Although I love my life here, I can’t deny that at first I was very homesick for the flavors of home. I missed simple things like enjoying fresh vegetables grown in neighboring fields.
I have always been passionate about good food. That’s why, with all my love, I learned to replicate the recipes of my homeland. Now, those recipes connect my Neapolitan past with my present. From a comforting Pasta with potatoes to more complex dishes, cooking is my bridge to Italy.
